Your privacy matters to us

Our privacy policy is pretty straightforward; at least we like to think so. We fashion ourselves fairly responsible folks, therefore we will be responsible in regards to your personal information. We have built trooQ on the foundation of trust, and we realize that without the trust of our community, we would basically have nothing. We will do our best to honor your privacy, as well as the privacy of all the other members of our community.

Your personal information

trooQ takes full responsibility and ownership of all personal information that is collected on the site. We will not sell, share, rent or give away your information to other parties above and beyond what is disclosed on this agreement.

Here at trooQ, we do our best to only ask for the bare minimum amount of personal information. We know what it is like to have to fill out tax form like applications just to sign up for a web site, so we kept that in mind when we put together our registration form. We feel it is pretty quick to fill out, and the information that your provide us allows for us to give you a pretty kick ass experience (OK, just checking to see if you are keeping up, we try to keep the profanity to a minimum).

Here is the information that we need from you in order to get a rock solid experience:

  • First Name -we need to know what to call you, unless you just want us to say Hey You!
  • Last Name - kind of goes along with the first one, plus it will help us sort out all the Joes (well maybe you are not a Joe, but you get the picture).
  • Nick Name (optional) - in the event you do not want to be known by your name, we need to know what to call you ;-)
  • Password - make it a good one, and do not tell anyone.
  • E-mail address - you will use this to log in to trooQ, and also this is where we will send any notifications you have asked to receive (oh, and we need to know how to get in touch with you, as we will send you some cool stuff once in awhile).
  • Your zip code (US residents only) - this will come in handy when you want to do an advanced search, now you are thinking about it, right?
